First wild quail

Yea she stays in pretty close. 25-50 yards. I’i gotta figure something out to get her a little bit farther out. But around here it’s so thick that honestly seems to be working. I’ll post a pic here after the hunt
 
Not much you can do. Running with a wider dog will sometimes pull them out. Running in more open country where they can see you. Sometimes those will give them a little more confidence. She might get a little wider with age. But don't fret it. You can find as many birds with a close dog, you just have to cover more ground. You got the legs so just go for it!!
 
Well not the best. Shot twice missed once. Killed 2 birds lol. Tbh down here I mostly hunt straight out of the can am. I put her down and cruise. Once she’s on point I rush over to the birds. I think with age she will range a bit more.
