yup....good time had by all...fairly hot temps, fairly good bird #'s vs. what was expected, with lots of really young ones observed....we found that walking ditches was productive, as the cover on my property was really lush and thick, rendering the walking pretty tough for the youngsters and kicking the dogs' behinds as well given the temps...fairly optimistic about this season, realizing that #'s are down, but maybe not as bad as first thought.
