White Lake Area

I may have the chance to hunt south of White Lake area , just curious how bird #'s are usually in this area. I wouldn't be coming till December, after Montana's big game seasons close. I would be hunting private ground, so not really worried about state or fed areas., thanks.

They got hailed on there last spring and in knocked the bird numbers down a bit. At least in the public areas the dog and I hunted last fall. Hail is always pretty localized so the private land you have access to might not have gotten hit near by. The bird numbers around there have usually been pretty good. I've hunted areas around there for the last twenty years and always found birds around.
