tri tronics beeper collar illegal in wisconsin?

Just called tritronics and they said that there was a mercury switch that was restricted for sale in Wisconsin, but that they fixed it a year ago.

Looks like cabelas hasn't updated their site or their stores. They have them on sale online for $80 too!

This stinks. Lady at tritronics said they are currently on backorder.
 
Well I ended up placing an order with gundogsupply for it.

Anybody order from them? After some confusion about which model I wanted, we got it figured out. They were super nice on the phone, hopefully all is well.
 
Order from them often....find their product evaluations to be fair and accurate.

I believe the mercury switch issues may have been what killed the ATS-Sonic beeper...the best beeper going in it's day.
