Trent-Madison and Mt. Vernon areas road hunting very slow

We spent Sunday road hunting north of Sioux Falls and Monday hunting north of Mt. Vernon. Both areas very slow and we saw a lot of birds last year in the same area around Mt. Vernon. Saw few roosters and relatively few hens this year. Not many other road hunters either. Glad I have a farm lined up for Wednesday.
