Haven't been hunting in a few years. Home on leave, planning on bagging a bird or two while I'm here...

Anyone been hunting around Kidder/Stuttsman Co's? How is it?

I was hunting in South central Kidder county. I thought the Hunting Was excellent. I was there For 5 days, and we limited out everyday.

I know that most service people are humble, but, this would be my suggestion for your script after you knock on doors asking permission to hunt:

"Sir, or M'aam,

I am home on leave and would like to know if I could hunt your property, or if you might have a suggestion of where I might go?"

You would score, and deservedly so, every time.
