Got out for a while on Sunday, Alot of snow and one particular slough is NOT froze enough to walk on yet!! Learned the hard way(AGAIN).

It's nice to see some people out there are having luck. I'm hunting my a$$ off and can't seem to flush a rooster in shooting distance. I've gone the last 2 weeks with no birds.
You guys are giving me hope yet

I can't believe the #'s of birds around right now. MN is something, You think there is not a dam one left then harvest goes away and the snow comes and it's like ant hills in allot of areas. SHfor life, a friend that lives just south of you between Montgomery and Waterville is seeing birds all over down there. Try walking some smaller cattail patches. I was on the phone with him yesterday and he was actually by Killkenny looking at birds.
