Mobridge-Reservation

Hello,

I am headed to Mobridge at the end of October. I have only hunted public land one other time in SD. When I look at the map, the land to the west of the river around Mobridge all looks like Reservation. Also, there is WIA's on the reservation? What do I need to know if I decided to head onto the reservation? I assume I might need another license, however, we would only be hunting walk-in areas on the reservation. Anything else? Any help would be appreciated.

Suggest calling the DNR office in Mobridge - have called them several times,good resource. They will have all the info for west river.

Last winter (Christmas) and again this July we observed birds north of town - perhaps one mile, just before the bridge. Mother in law lives in Mobridge so we'll be back again in December. I personally hunt in the central part of the state...
