Kennebec,Presho,Vivian reports?

Anyone hunting around these areas?
Are ya’ll still finding some pockets of birds?
We’re planning a trip there next week. Been about 5 years since I’ve been there.

I hunt a bit west of Vivian. Was there second weekend and there was still a ton of corn in. I would imagine by now the harvest should be winding down. Hunted all private and birds were down considerably from last year. That said with good dogs and full day hunting we had shots at limits everyday even with the wind and warm temperatures.

Thanks for your report. It’s always hard to tell from the SD pheasant outlook because they give roadside numbers in Chamberlain Winner and Pierre but Presho and Vivian are a ways from there.
