A few pics of Bella finding some woodcock and grouse, productive training day, 27 bird contacts all but 3 were woodcock, 18 good points on woodies and 2 on grouse roughly an hour of work.....not work pure fun!

spring training

I too got out last Saturday put up 7 grouse and 11 woodcock but it took me all day in the Southwest part of the state. Think I will give it another go round this Saturday before we cant run dogs for the rest of spring and half summer.

MMelton, yeah we got to get out while we can, my spot is a flight cover it is used in the fall too. I went there on Tuesday and had 5 grouse and only 5 woodcock contacts in about 30 minutes. Only a week left before quiet time.......

Looks kinda dry, compared to all the wetness down in southeast mi.
