good taxidermist?

hey guys looking for a good taxidermist in the colorado area. want to get a couple pheasants mounted this year. any help would be great. and what the going rate for pheasant mounts? thanks. derrick
 
I can't help you with taxidermists in your area, but I can tell you that I had one done 2 years ago for $180. I found a guy that said he was willing to do one for $160, but he didn't have any pictures of previously completed mounts to prove his accuracy. I went with the guy charging 180 and was very satisfied with his work.
 
was that in kansas? i usually go hunting in the wakeeney hill city area and if i could drop it off there and pick it up next time around would be pretty cool.
