End of the Season

She was cold one today but a surprising limit sure warmed me up. Had a great year with great friends. No Vet bills. Anyone else do any good today?
 
A limit on the last day makes the spring and summer that much longer. Happy New Years and Cheers to a great day! I will be hunting Bobwhites in the snow come morning. " God Help Me I do Love it so"
 
Thanks and Happy New Year to you as well!! Fortunately my buddies and I have small private game farm that we do some hunts on. That's the only way for me to keep my sanity until the Spring Turkey scouting and seasons start. Man I'm jealous...I haven't put a bead on a Bobwhite since about '97 in South Dakota. They're fun that's for sure. Good luck to you!!
 
Congrats to those that got out and had some success. I hunted yesterday afternoon near Ottawa Lake but didn't have any luck. Came across a flick of about a dozen turkeys. Bored flushers find wild turkey scent very interesting. :rolleyes:
