I almost always take 3 pairs of boots on out of state hunting trips. My primary leather boots, my back ups that are warmer and waterproof and a pair of ankle high slip on that are easy to get on and off for dog walking and also water proof. The downside is having multiple pairs of loose boots laying around and having to carry them in and out of the house and motel room.
I was walking around Rogers Sporting Goods this week and they had the Drake Wader bag marked down to $42.00 and I had a $5.00 reward credit. For $37 I decided to get it for carrying my hunting boots. 3 pair of boots fit perfectly and my gaiters fit in the top pocket. Much easier to carry in and out of the house and motel. Should save me a trip or two when loading and unloading gear on trips. Thought I would mention.
