Just curious if anyone has experienced any success stories in the Huron/Woonsocket area? Pheasants, that is. Also, is there any freelance duck hunting in that area? Thanks!

A friend of ours had a great opening weekend in Huron. Was hunting corn on private land of course but said they saw a ton of birds, him & most in the group got their limit. Not sure about the public ground up there or duck hunting though.

There is decent water on public ground for ducks in that area. Get the atlas a.nd do some scouting
Woonsocket
Just returned from woonsocket area.
bird numbers in that area are really down. A couple of the pay hunt guys I know in that area are talking about quitting! They can make a lot more money these days raising corn. We did hunt pretty close to Woonsocket one of the 3 days we were there and did manage to get our limit! The other two days we hunted south of Plankinton and then out west a few miles south of Miller. Both those areas seemed to have more birds!
