Was out cruising the Farm with PF biologist surveying potential projects and we were cruisng the edge of some corn and winter wheat and flushed a couple pheasants that were about 3-4 weeks old (6"?). Surprisingly large for this early in hatch. Good sign.
On the flip sign the PF biologist thought the heavy rains out here were not good for broods and that some would be lost.
