Another fast year and another trip to South Dakota. The good Lord has granted me another trip with good friends. I'll be leaving in the morning. The reports say the birds are down but there will be 100% more that there are around home! Good luck to all and a safe hunt. MG :D

We just returned home from hunting near Redfield last night. The bird numbers didn't seem to be down much if any. We brought home 26 birds for the two of us so we were just 4 birds short of our limit for five days of hunting. We missed a few so there is no excuse there! Our best luck was...

From watching weather reports, I can see that South Dakota has had a lot of snow this year. Is serious flooding expected? The first time I hunted in SD was in 1999. There was still lots of water around from the snows in 1998. Lock and Load! :D
