    4 roosters I saw tonight.

I was down south and decided to tool around looking for wildlife. Here are pictures of 4 different roosters I saw. There were another three I saw that I didn't photo. 7 roosters is pretty strong for an impromptu lollygag in this neck of the woods. And here a buddy just told me earlier today...

    Water in the field...

These work really good too. I had a very similar item under a different name, probably out of the same factory in China 🇨🇳.

    Water in the field...

And the price is right and indestructible.

    SD Public Pheasant Hunting Trip

I would lower your expectation of getting 15 birds in a day.

    Feeding Time

I've never heard that labs are prone to twisted gut. I've heard it's most common in big chested dogs with smaller hips, mainly English pointers and gsp.

    Water in the field...

https://www.scheels.com/p/ruff-land-kennels-water-hole-dish/41400001108.html It doesn't get much easier than this. It'll last all day for two dogs no problem. In the field I carry water bottles and collapsible dish. If I just pour water out of a bottle over her muzzle Skye will drink, but she...

    SD Public Pheasant Hunting Trip

Some of those wpa's are over- hunted. I'd look for red dots on the map, game production areas. Some of these are loaded and often over looked.

I would hunt western MN instead.

    HOE-LEE-COW!

Here's an unlisted link to the video of the pheasants going off. The image quality is grainy because this was past sunset and the camera sensor was struggling in the low light. Turn the volume up a little. I wish I had a shotgun mic out there, so many other birds were crowing in the distance...

    protection while hunting

I've never found any percussive filter to work as good as standard plugs and or muffs. I'll use them for hunting, but if I'm gonna be shooting a lot, aka clays, no way I'd use any percussive filter product.

    HOE-LEE-COW!

No I could never be that much of a blowhard day in and day out. I couldn't fish like him either, I don't need a guide, and I'd bring a lot more fish over the side of the boat.

    HOE-LEE-COW!

I was thinking more overblown and obnoxious😅. That's OK though, horses for courses as they say.

Man those brats were good. Johnsons meats in Windom. Highly recommend.

    HOE-LEE-COW!

I'm out here starting at a pair of teriyaki pineapple brats roasting on top of the hippy television. The campground is literally empty but me. Around sunset the roosters were very vocal as is common. What I didn't expect is the absolute ruckus I heard about 8:15. There were birds sounding off...

Off limits period and leash question

I looked into it and I can bring dogs out on the federal prairie on a leash. The reason I was looking into it is because I've got a vacation coming up and I've always wanted to visit some native prairie that has never been plowed under. And hopefully get a glimpse of some wild buffalo.

    Uninsulated Boots??

My hands and feet get cold very easily. I wear the classic Irish setters with zero insulation. My feet have gotten "cool" maybe three times while bird hunting, it was below zero each time. For me I will stick with an uninsulated boot. One day we hit the bar for lunch, and saw another group of...
