Walked out on the deck Saturday morning and listened to bird on my side of the ridge hollering to another across the road. They must be busted up and starting. 5 weeks till season, they might be hatching by start of season, with as early as spring has started.

Dog's in shape. I've shot several rounds of clays. I've been walking 3-4 times a week, but just a couple of miles. Any one have a sure fire remedy other than the Gatorade and dried Bananas diet on hunting days.

The upland forecast is out and KS is up along with most of pheasant belt. Lets hope the trend continues, it's going in the right direction. :)
