Anyone have some of the Higgins releasers they would be willing to part with? I have 2 dt launchers but am working to get the dog completely staunch and I believe they will help.

    Cooper x Dolly

Dolly is sired by Nitro Elhew Hemmingway. Dolly is smaller framed female with a range of 100-150 yards in the open but will make adjustments according to the terrain she is in. While she will not blow your doors off with speed, she handles like a dream. Dolly has a temperament anyone would look...

    Chasing

Yesterday I went out and planted a bird for the dog. He made game and was flagging his ass off. I stepped in front with a 20ga and blew the bird up on the ground right in front of him. I then put him up for the day. Today took him back out and put a bird in a tip releaser. Once he made game he...

    Chasing

As a matter a fact my first pointer I caused him to start flagging from being over worked on pen raised birds. And I mean flagged on pen raised and wild quail too. Had a guy to tell me to blow a bird up on the ground and it will fix it….

    Elhew/Miller/ Go Boy/Honkytonk

Still have two pups from our last litter. The pups are 7 months old one male, one female. The male is currently 40 pounds and would appear he will be a 50 plus pound dog. The female is small 26lbs currently, but has a lot of go in her. Both dogs have a ton of run but seem to be biddable...

We’re seeing plenty of quail. Only seen a few pheasant. But I’m two hours east of you. Haven’t seen the first bird hunter since we been here. I would assume further west you go the more you might see.

I like most if not all the breedings he does. I wish I had a horse cause I would have some and horseback trial them. But I don’t so we breed a strong Elhew line.

I need to get out there and hunt. You probably have some outstanding dogs. Like I said Dan is constantly breeding to National Champs. His dogs are no slouch if they suit your needs. In Tn we hunt slot of fence rows and not a lot of open country like what I assume is in West TX.
