All our pheasants in NW WI are from the DNR or conservation clubs. No real wild naturally breeding pheasants anymore. That’s why we travel.

Pheasants are not native to NW WI. One dog, one gun, one flush, one shot and one retrieve. When I buy a pup I’m paying for a great nose. When you have a great dog, you will know it, they can do it all.
Remy, it might seem silly to take off your vest to load a pheasant, but you probably are not a candidate for shoulder replacement.
It wasn’t always this way, just the last ten years. I have understanding hunting friends and I’m out there. no perfect vest.
Could not get on the forum around Christmas, but eventually I did access the site. For me just had to login and all was good. I just thought the site was under repair, maybe?
B and P Heavy Pheasant is a dynamite load thru my 20ga SxS. Anchors the roosters with the first barrel. My first choice is my hand loads, but this cartridge is a good one. Expect more retrieves. Buy a case when you can.
