I think everyone has pointed the direction that I need to move towards. I was hoping to get the shells out of the house by using ”vapor tight” containers. I will organize something within the climate controlled area to get them a little more out of the way. I really appreciate everyone...

Munster, what you bring up may prove my idea undesirable. If I were to store these in a room that was not climate controlled, the summer temps would rise- which may raise humidity even if the tote was sealed. BTW, my basement was (yesterday) between 60-65%.

It could but I would need 3 or 4. I have been lucky enough to find a number of estate sales and country hardware store closings where I have bought hunting loads. The only new loads I have bought have been flats of 12 and 16 gauge non-toxic loads. I imagine that I will have to buy any loads...

I am not currently training any young dogs. I will occasionally trap pigeons to work the dogs and I have a new source for quail that a young man has started. I will buy some of those to work the dogs and in hopes the young man can (hopefully) realize a break even point on raising the birds...

It pairs very quickly with an iPhone. As with anything, range will very but block walls and plaster walls will limit range. I can have mine in a vehicle and usually still read the data in the room although sometimes I have to be near a window (block walls and distance limitations). I suppose...

Can't go wrong with either listed. I use the Sensorpush for the dogs and in my gun safe (humidity). The only drawback is the Sensorpush is a little pricey...

No quail. Limited grouse. I find enough to really keep my dogs happy but do not shoot many. Take a lot of pictures...

After my father passed, I received his 11-87 (circa early 1990s). It weighs 8.2 lbs- unloaded. It has become my wet weather pheasant weapon. And I pray for dry weather every day I hunt pheasant.....

Thank you. It has a brand new look. The only down side is it is not as tactile- but it is not coming off on my hands either!!

Received the Maxus back yesterday evening. The repairs look good. So, shipped out December 27, 2023 - a total of 68 days. I am curious. What process is used to make those repairs? Is it a dip of some kind or a wrap?
