    NEWS FLASH: Drought ends at Ponderosa

    I had 7 1/4 inches for the weekend at my house in Wilson County. Some reports north of my place in Allen and Woodson County had 11-12 inches. My pond has been 4-5 foot low for 2 years, not anymore, its full and running around the overflow.

    In my part of SEK there are very few quail. ( Wilson county) I hunted most of the day Saturday and never seen a bird. And I was on all private ground. I don't think we will ever see the 80's and early 90's quail numbers again.
